Jed is an experienced Vascular Sonographer with expertise spanning across multiple disciplines following the completion of degrees in Sport Science, Clinical Exercise Physiology and Clinical Science. He specialised in Vascular Sonography in 2019 at the University of Newcastle in the UK. Jed has excelled in the field since, holding jobs across the south coast of England, before moving to Dunedin to join the team at Specialist Vein Care.
Jed communicates effectively with patients regarding their venous scan and their options for treatment. His extensive vascular knowledge and particular expertise in mapping varicose veins has made him a sought-after professional within his field.
He applies evidence-based research to underpin his own practice and is currently undertaking a clinical audit regarding graft and stent research at Dunedin Public Hospital.
With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing the best outcomes for his patients, Jed is pleased to be a member of the team. Since moving to Dunedin Jed enjoys a wide range of activities including surfing, tramping and skiing.
